ADAPT Careers was established in 2018 to help clients lay the foundations for purposeful and productive careers. With specialised and appropriate career guidance from an early age, young Australians can maximise their career development potential throughout their lifetime.
We see the most benefit from our service when working with clients over a period of time. We support clients as young as Yr 9 - through the senior years of school, into tertiary studies and the early stages of their career, through career transitions, changes, and throughout their working lives depending on their needs and aspirations.
We also have many satisfied clients we have seen once who required clarity and structure around their career decision-making.
We will work with you to help you get the best outcome from your experience with ADAPT Careers.
ADAPT Careers utilise The Careers Education and Development Framework (CEDF) to support the career counselling practice; through this framework, we support our clients in developing a better understanding of self, the world of work and the influencers around their career decision-making. We use progressive career counselling tools combined with traditional counselling techniques to inspire greater self-awareness, informed decision-making, motivation and purpose.
Our work complements school and tertiary career advice, not replaces or reiterates. We empower young adults by building their capacity to be self-directed in their career development now and in the future. We love what we do!
